Rotary Endodontics

Endodontics, more commonly known as root canal, usually involves a procedure where the roots or nerves of the tooth are removed. This can be necessary if a tooth dies, becomes infected, abscessed or painful. A large cavity or cracked tooth can cause damage that leads to the need of endodontic treatment. In some circumstances, endodontic treatment can be an option that helps patients to keep their teeth instead of having the tooth extracted and losing it forever.

Modern rotary endodontics is a way of performing the root canal utilizing a specific electrical handpiece. This tool often makes the process faster, more thorough, and allows the Dr. Doster to perform the procedure with more efficiency.
